AGS
AGSMatter-native grow hub for small indoor rooms
ExpansionMatter for mains / IR for remotes / one app, one control model

Two expansion rails. One hub.

Matter 1.3 for anything with a mains plug. IR learn-and-fire for anything with a remote. AGS is a Matter commissioner and an IR learning blaster, and they share one control surface in the app.

No second controller, no vendor cloud, no translation layer. The hub stays the source of truth.

AGS hub fires a learned IR command at a mini-split unit
Rail 1 - Matter for mains

Commission any Wi-Fi Matter plug from the hub.

Up to 12 outlets per hub. They land next to PWM channels with the same schedule and history surface.

Matter rail

Commissioner, not just a controller

The hub is its own Matter fabric admin. It pairs Wi-Fi Matter plugs on-network, signs their credentials against the DCL attestation trust store, and manages them directly - no second app, no vendor cloud in the middle.

Matter rail

Up to 12 outlets per hub

Logical slots scale to twelve commissioned outlets. Plenty of room for a full tent plus extras. Plugs inherit the same schedule, PID arbitration, and history as the PWM channels.

Matter rail

One app, one control model

Paired plugs appear next to PWM channels in the Device Hub with the same schedule, PID, and history surface. You tune and inspect in one place.

Rail 2 - IR for remotes

Learn the codes off the remotes you already own.

AC units first, then ventilators, aux lights, humidifiers, anything that listens to a 38 kHz IR remote.

IR rail

Learn the remote, fire from the app

The hub has a 38 kHz IR transmit and receive path. Point your AC, mini-split, ventilator, or aux-light remote at it, press the button you want, and the hub captures the timings. Up to 8 devices and 32 commands per device stay on the hub.

IR rail

AC-first, but works on anything with a remote

AGS ships with a SmartIR-backed AC catalog for fast setup on common brands, plus a user-learn wizard. If your appliance has an IR remote, you can bring it in.

IR rail

Fires on schedule today - sensor-triggered is coming

Today you schedule or manually fire IR commands from the app. Sensor-triggered IR (think: 'turn AC on when VPD exceeds 1.6 kPa for 10 minutes') is in development. We list it in /roadmap and we will not claim it as shipping until it is.

Tested expansions

Hardware that already talks to the hub.

Matter is new. IR remote catalogs are messy. Our compatibility list stays short and honest: every plug and remote on it has been paired or learned against the hub firmware.

  • Matter Wi-Fi plugs: paired and schedule-tested against a growing list in /specs.
  • AC units: common brands via a shipped catalog, plus a user-learn wizard for everything else.
  • Ventilators, aux lights, humidifiers with IR remotes: user-learn wizard at release.
  • Thread-only Matter devices: not in release; Wi-Fi commissioning only.

Trust: where your data lives and how the hub is secured.

AGS hosts the cloud for you on independent EU infrastructure. Matter pairing uses proof-of-possession. OTA is signed and rollback-safe.
