What this policy covers

This policy applies to the public AGS marketing pages at the `ags-mqtt.ddns.net` domain, served as static content by an Nginx container on a single EU VPS.

It does not apply to the AGS hub firmware, the AGS Flutter app, or the AGS-hosted cloud backend (running on independent EU infrastructure). Each of those components has its own privacy notice shipped with the product.

Information the site processes

HTTP request metadata. The Nginx server records standard access log fields (timestamp, IP address, user agent, requested path, response status). Logs are retained for 30 days and used only for operational purposes (security, error analysis, abuse handling).

Waitlist submissions. If you submit the waitlist form, the email address and any optional fields (name, room notes) are sent to our form processor (Tally, EU-hosted) and stored there. We export them on a regular basis and delete any addresses that ask to be removed.

Analytics. If analytics are enabled on a given build, the site uses a cookieless analytics tool (Plausible) that aggregates page views without setting tracking cookies or fingerprinting visitors. Analytics are opt-in at the infrastructure level and are documented when active.

Cookies and client storage

The site does not set any cookies for advertising, remarketing, or analytics. No third-party scripts load on the public pages. No local-storage writes happen without your action (for example, completing a form).

If that ever changes, this section and the footer will be updated before the script is deployed, and a consent mechanism will be added where required by law.

Who your data is shared with

We do not sell, rent, or trade contact data. We share data only with the processors required to run the site: the form processor (Tally) for waitlist submissions, and the hosting provider for the VPS that serves the site.

No data is shared with advertising networks, data brokers, or any third party outside those processors.

Your rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and equivalent laws in other jurisdictions, you can ask us to: confirm whether we hold information about you, give you a copy of that information, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or export it.

To exercise any of these rights, email the address on the contact page. We aim to respond within 30 days. Requests are handled manually by a human, not by an automated system.

Legal basis and international transfers

We rely on your consent (where you actively submit information, such as the waitlist form) and our legitimate interest in running and securing the site (for example, keeping access logs).

The site is served from an EU VPS. The form processor (Tally) is EU-hosted. No personal data is routinely transferred outside the EEA. Any future exceptions would be disclosed in this section.

Changes to this page

When we change how we handle information, we update this page and the date at the top of this section. Material changes are also noted in the site footer or release notes.
